A single capillary drop can be sufficient for some tests, but individual drops may introduce greater preanalytical variability. Haiim uses vacuum-assisted collection of liquid capillary blood from the fingertip to provide a defined sample volume while reducing dependence on manual squeezing and individual drop collection. It is designed for use in compatible point-of-care workflows.
